Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By creating an account or using Chat Wars ("the Service"), operated by JMCA Studios, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 13 years old and meet the minimum age requirements of Twitch and Kick to use the Service.

2. The Service

Chat Wars is an entertainment tool that lets streamers run simulated battle royale matches for their chat, displayed through a dashboard and broadcast overlay. Match results are generated by a fair, random simulation and have no real-world value.

3. No Affiliation with Twitch or Kick

Chat Wars and JMCA Studios are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch Interactive, Inc., Amazon.com, Inc., or Kick.com. All platform names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. You are responsible for following the terms and community guidelines of any platform you stream on.

4. No Gambling, Contests & Giveaways

Chat Wars is not a gambling, betting, lottery, raffle, or sweepstakes service, and no purchase or payment is required to enter a match. If a streamer chooses to offer prizes, cash, or other rewards based on match results, the streamer is solely responsible for complying with all applicable contest, sweepstakes, tax, and promotional laws, and for any rules, eligibility, and prize delivery.

5. Streamer Responsibilities & Content

• You are responsible for moderating your chat and for everything shown on your broadcast, including entrant usernames and profile pictures.
• You may not use the Service to harass others, break the law, or violate platform rules.
• Keep your account credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.

6. Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and are not liable for stream interruptions, lost data, chat connection issues, third-party platform changes, or any indirect or consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service, if any.

7. Intellectual Property

The Chat Wars name, game modes, animations, artwork, code, and JMCA Studios branding are owned by JMCA Studios. You may display the overlay on your streams and recordings, but may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service.

8. Copyright (DMCA) Notices

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or trademark, contact Joe@JMCAStudios.net with a description of the work, its location, and your contact details.

9. Termination & Changes

We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Paid features, if introduced, will come with their own pricing and billing terms.
